Dr Michael Mosley and Exercise Scientist, Professor Tim Olds discuss the current Australian guidelines for exercise and how most of us aren’t meeting them (approximately 50%).

The guidelines suggest 150 to 300 minutes of moderately intense physical activity, or 75 to 150 minutes of vigorously intense physical activity, plus two muscle strengthening sessions, each week. With 60 per cent of Australians being overweight and 30 per cent obese, how can we make the idea of exercise more attainable to everyday people?
