Yesterday was Mental Health Day. A day in the calendar to highlight the importance of our mental health, or to ensure we reach out for help when we’re struggling. Up to 1 in 4 Australians can be suffering from mental illness at any given time, so it is vital to ensure those around you are coping, but more importantly actually listening and helping if they’re not. 

Regular structured exercise is proven to provide huge improvements in the mental health of sufferers and is now becoming part of standard treatment for those suffering with depression, PTSD, anxiety and more. But the key lies in finding an exercise that suits you! A form of exercise that YOU really ENJOY, you look forward to and WANT to do regularly. For many people, that can be the missing piece to their health puzzle.
